MATING RECOMMENDATIONS

Updated October 10, 2020

Point Of Entry is the best sire son of the great Dynaformer currently at stud. He’s out of the Seeking the Gold mare Matlacha Pass and hails from a highly influential female line going back to champion Gold Beauty.

Point of Entry’s MGSW/MG1SP Analyze It is out of a mare by Consolidator, a Storm Cat son out of a Blushing Groom granddaughter. 2019 multiple SP La Dame Blanche is out of a mare by Giant's Causeway, another bred Storm Cat over Blushing Groom (Rahy). We find Blushing Groom in the pedigrees of seven other Point of Entry blackytpe runners, including SW Glamanation, G2W Plus Que Parfait & G1SP Pretty Point.

Glamanation is out of a mare by the Blushing Groom grandson Orientate (by Mt. Livermore) and 2020 SW Maries Melody is out of a mare by the Blushing Groom grandson Leroidesanimaux (by Candy Stripes). Overall, Blushing Groom is found in the pedigrees of 60% of Point of Entry's blacktype runners so far. Dynaformer certainly worked well with Blushing Groom-influenced mares with at least eight stakes winners including major G1 winners on two continents - Kentucky Derby champion Barbaro (out of a mare by Carson City, dam by Blushing Groom) and Melbourne Cup hero Americain (dam by Arazi).

Analyze It, Glamanation and three more Point of Entry blacktype runners show the influence of Crimson Satan, best known as Storm Cat’s 2nd damsire. Crimson Satan is also the damsire of both Mt. Livermore and Storm Cat's close relative, Royal Academy (by Nijinsky II). Royal Academy is the damsire of G3W Admission Office. Mares by the Storm Cat great-grandson Shanghai Bobby (dam by Orientate) are very interesting for Point of Entry based on this evidence.

Another current source of Mt. Livermore is the A. P. Indy grandson Dialed In, whose dam is bred Storm Cat over Mt. Livermore. We also find A. P. Indy in the pedigree of Analyze It, sire of his 3rd dam.

From his first four starters out of daughters of Awesome Again (dam by Blushing Groom) Point of Entry has sired UAE Derby (G2) hero Plus Que Parfait and two additional blacktype runners. From a similar handful of starters out of mares by Awesome Again's son Ghostzapper, Point of Entry has sired 2020 SW I'llhandalthecash. Ghostzapper daughters have always been promising targets given his considerable success as a sire with Roberto/Dynaformer and Seeking the Gold. Ghostzapper’s G1W Contested is out of a mare bred Roberto over Seeking the Gold and he’s had other top level success individually with both Dynaformer (G1W Stately Victor, etc.) and Seeking The Gold (G1W Better Lucky, etc.).

Dynaformer showed a strong affinity for In Reality, particularly through Relaunch (Ghostzapper's damsire) the broodmare sire of his G1W Starrer and G3W Pommes Frites and the second damsire of his G1W Star Billing. Point of Entry's SP Malibu Mambo is out of a mare by the Relaunch grandson Tiznow (by Cee's Tizzy).

Point of Entry’s SW Entirely is out of a mare by Danzig, who we also find in the pedigree of SP Devine Entry (2nd dam by the Danzig son Belong to Me). There are now well over 480 global SWs showing Roberto on the top half of the pedigree and Danzig on the bottom side.

Devine Entry is out of a mare by the Gone West stallion Elusive Quality and two of Point of Entry's 2020 juvenile blacktype horses are also out of mare by Gone West sons - SW Emro (dam by Grand Slam) and SP Point of Grace (Mr. Greeley). There are now over 280 SWs that show Point of Entry’s damsire Seeking the Gold on the top half of the pedigree and a return of Mr. Prospector on the bottom.

Analyze It’s 2nd dam is by the Fappiano grandson Unbridled's Song. Seeking the Gold and Fappiano have combined in about one-fifth of the aforementioned 280 or so Seeking the Gold/Mr. Prospector stakes winners.

Unbridled’s Song is out of a mare by Caro, an influence also found in the pedigrees of SW Entirely and two other blackytpe runners by Point of Entry.
